Construction began in summer 2021. Due to recent rain significantly impacting the construction work, the bridge will now be completed with lanes that accommodate full width traffic in winter 2023.
To minimize impacts and maintain traffic movement for local and regional travelers, construction will be completed in two stages. Below is the tentative construction plan.
Work will typically occur 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday-Friday as well as occasionally on Saturday and Sunday. Night work may also occur on Carpenter Road and during certain construction activities requiring 24-hour work such as drilling foundation piers.
