On Monday, June 24, 2024, the Stanislaus County Department of Public Works held a ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate the completion of the Crows Landing Road Bridge Replacement Project!
The event took place at 10 a.m. on the Crows Landing Bridge, just south of S. Carpenter Road, and was attended by approximately 30 interested parties and local property owners. David Leamon, Public Works Director (and Master of Ceremonies for the event) provided welcoming remarks and introductions as well as a project overview, staff recognition, and bridge history.
Elected officials included County Board of Supervisors Buck Condit (District 1), Vito Chiesa (District 2), Terry Withrow (District 3), and Channce Condit (District 5), as well as field representatives Justin Farkas, Assemblyman Juan Alanis’ office, and Jacob Faulder, Senator Marie Alvarado-Gil’s office, who both presented the county with a certificate of recognition. The event ended with a ribbon cutting and unveiling of a plaque on the bridge abutment.
